The Fujita Frenzy was a cut power-up in Tornado Outbreak that allowed a player to drastically increase the size of the tornado, allowing the player to take out objects that were too large for their current tornado size. The power-up was featured in the Tornado Alley prototype.
Overview[]
The Fujita Frenzy was pitched as an obtainable power-up that could've been unlocked by filling up a "People Power Meter". This meter, would gradually fill up whenever the player collects a large amount of humans that could be found scattered throughout the environment or by hiding within destroyed buildings. Once enough humans are collected with the tornado, the player would be prompted to unleash a Fujita Frenzy by pressing the 
button. Though the power-up is cut from the final game, the mechanic of collecting humans was reworked to suite the game's growth mechanic. Instead of obtaining a power-up that makes the size of Zephyr's tornado more powerful, the Category Level of the tornado only increases by one.
