Tornado Outbreak's interactive soundtrack consists of around seven different tracks. Each track plays depending on the state the player is in.
- S1: Usually one to two instruments combined to form a simple melody.
- S2: Another instrument is added. This also depends on the level. In Chicken Con Carnage, a bass is immediately added during this track. You can still hear the S1 track.
- S3: Typically when the bass instrument comes in. The S1 track now plays more softer.
- In most cases, S3 is usually the track containing the drum layer.
- S4: This is where the drums typically come in. In Chicken Con Carnage, the guitar is added.
- Double Wide Damage, High Roller Blowout, Carnival Chaos, and Ringling Village are an exception to this.
- S5: String Instruments or Other Instruments can be heard in the music. These range from flutes, violins, cellos, basses, and violas.
- S6: Brass Instruments such as trumpets, timpanis, tuba, etc, are added in the in the track. Additionally, some levels feature a complexly different version of the level's music at this state; Coastal Calamity is an example.
- S7: A choir is added in the track. A handful of instrument tracks are removed.
Notes[]
- All of the game's music was composed and arrange in Pro Tools. With the exception of the choir in Camelot Falls.[1]
- High Roller Blowout is the only level to not include a choir after S6. Instead, several brass instruments are used.
- Tracks such as Main Menu, Out of Time, Boss, and Totems Mix are the only four tracks that don't have an interactive mix.
