Noclip mode, also known as Noclipping mode is a feature present in all three versions of Tornado Outbreak. The mode allows the player to freely explore around the map without being stunned by the sunlight. Players in either method of activating noclipping mode will be unable to destroy objects that are outside the shaded boundary.
There are two methods of enabling Noclipping mode in the game. Setting the weatherphase1' to weatherphase0, or alternatively editing the growmission file by changing the hex value from 1 to 2. The first method allows players to explore the area by controlling Zephyr; the second method disables the controller input for Zephyr. Instead of controlling him, the player has full control over the camera.
Overview[]
In noclipping mode, the player is unable to control Zephyr. Players use the left stick to move the camera around while the right stick is used for rotation. The Left and Right triggers are used to control the Z-axis of the camera while the left bumper is used for speeding up the camera's movement.
On the Wii, these controls slightly differ. The Nunchuck is used for rotating the camera while the Wiimote's D-pad is used to adjust the movement of the camera. The buttons 1 and 2 are used to adjust the Z-axis of the camera while the Z-button is used to change the camera's speed.
The PlayStation 3 port on the other hand, lacks the ability to adjust the Z-axis. Like the 360 port, players use both analog sticks to control the camera's rotation and movement. The L1 button is used to change the speed of the camera.
