"Energy cores are it's weak spot! Once one of the doors open up, you'll need to rush onto it and pound on it, before it closes again!"
― Nimbus[src]
Totems are tall statues that serve the purpose of preventing Zephyr and the Wind Warrior from obtaining Omegaton's Orb of power. In the later levels, Totems begin to throw balls of fire towards the player.
Behavior[]
Totems are stationary statues only capable of launching fireballs directly at Zephyr and his Wind Warriors. In Battle Mode, they engage in an alternative defensive mechanism in which the doors protecting its energy core begins to open and close. Should Zephyr fail to destroy the Totem's limb that he's targeting, the Totem's door will close onto Zephyr, stunning him along with taking out one of the five Wind Warriors protecting him.
Level Appearances[]
Chicken Con Carnage![]
Nimbus first introduces the player with a single Totem head. He instructs Zephyr to pummel it until it explodes.
Double Wide Damage![]
Nimbus warns the player about avoiding the sunlight. Now, the Totems have evolved into two heads.
Military Mayhem![]
For a third time, the Totems have evolved once again. This time, they have three heads.
High Roller Blowout[]
Totems will begin to throw balls of fire towards the player. The player can shield themselves by using the grab button, but will result in a loss of momentum. If the player fails to protect themselves, they will lose a Wind Warrior.
Carnival Chaos[]
For the final phase, the Totems have became slightly skinnier and now have a total four heads.
